Branding Guideline: Affiliate Branding

Corporate logos are the most immediate representation of our company, our people, and our brand to the world. It is a valuable corporate asset that must be used consistently in the proper, approved forms.

While each affiliate logo is different, many requirements are standard. All affiliate logos should be used as an introduction of the brand on a communication, not as a signature to close a communication.

The affiliate logo should occur only once per piece unless it contains a front and back cover. For instance, on a multi-page piece the logo would go on the cover and the back cover. For a single or multi-page piece that does not contain a back cover, the logo should only occur on the first page.

Clear Space

All affiliate logos will have a minimum clear space of .25x on standard communications. Designs with logos occurring within images are allowed given the correct logo is utilized within the design (see individual affiliate logo requirements).

Placement

Logos may be placed in the upper right or left, lower right or left or centered at the top for single or multi page communications. If the communication contains a back cover, the logos must be centered horizontally and vertically on the back cover. Alternatively, if the back cover contains a large amount of content, logos may be centered at the top or bottom of the page. For printed communications, logos must include an additional .150” to clear/cover page trim.
